Set in 1998 a group of Fanboys, set out to steal a print of Star Wars: Episode One, because one of the group has cancer and wont live to see the long awaited film in theaters.
That was the set-up for Fanboys, a funny road-trip movie from The Weinstein Company, until it tested poorly to test audiences, so they spent $2 Million to reshoot it, only to have the now improved version score 2 points higher.
This is becoming an expensive movie that may never seen the screen. Maybe they'll but both films on one DVD and try to recoup some of they're losses.
